I purchased the Digi-Pas® 2-Axis DWL3500XY (Bluetooth model) on the recommendation from Hurco. It was mainly for leveling the 5 axis equipment. What I found is I use it for every leveling process we perform regardless of the application. The Bluetooth feature is the best. You can set and calibrate the level in one single spot and it will give you X and Y real time feedback to your laptop. This is great on large machines. You can make a leveling screw adjustment while being on the floor behind the machine and if you have your computer or Android device you can see it as you make the adjustment. This level will cut a leveling process by 75% no joke! It is the best purchase I have ever made for our service department.

The Digi-Pas® DWL2000XY dual-axis precision Digital Level was a straight forward alternative for the traditional single-axis spirit level. This piece of instrument has superb accuracy combined with the temperature stabilization feature is awesome for the kind of research we do in Cavendish Laboratories, University of Cambridge. The level meter has been instrumental in the alignment of the experimental surfaces which have to be totally flat to ground. This feature was lacking in the earlier single-axis spirit levels which we used to use. With the DWL 2000XY, the alignment job has boiled down to few minutes compare to hours which we used to spend earlier. The 2-axis reading along with the LCD display gives it the strength of reading planar
(Two-dimensional) leveling in a non-trivial way when working in glove boxes compared to the traditional spirit levels.

I use the spirit level Digi-Pas® DWL 80E to control the measurement of bridge bearings (inspection of pot slide bearings). It is very suitable as a measuring tool on the often inaccessible and small measuring planes to determine the position in the plane; very helpful is the magnetic adhesion at the sliding surfaces, the accuracy in the parts per thousand range is sufficient.

We use Digi-Pas DWL 80 Pro for measuring our track on Formula racing car. For this we place the instrument directly on the hub of the wheel. For a better measurement result, we do six measurements per wheel and average this value; the level is placed in a vertical position to the road. After the first measurement, we change the angle perpendicular to the road by about 5 degrees each direction. Then we turn the inclinometer by 180° and repeat the procedure just described. The measurement results differ by only 0.15 °. Unfortunately, the magnet does not help us because of the aluminum hub. Compared to conventional methods of measurement with analog level we can quickly and accurately measure the fall. In addition, this device saves a lot of weight and space. We also use the inclinometer for aligning our wheel load scales to each other to bring all four of them to the same height. We are very satisfied with this device. Possibly an illuminated display would be helpful.

We use Digi-Pas® DWL180S Digital Inclinometer Module for guiding robotic arm grip and placement of work-piece precisely when feeding work-pieces into CNC machines. Its flat mounting surface contact is perfectly designed for fitting directly onto the gripper arm of our 6-axis robot arm handling system. This enables us to obtain precise gripping angle easily for achieving accurate gripping position when picking up and placing work-pieces. As a result, Digi-Pas® DWL180S module effectively improved the set-up time and reduced the error rate of our robot arm handling system.
